What a fantastic weekend! the tranquility of the hotel was just what I needed. the picturesque river next to the hotel was a lovely addition to the beautiful scenery. the onsen was definitely the highlight of my stay, I can't believe how soothing it was to dip into it. the traditional Japanese room with a futon bed was really comfortable. Being able to enjoy the tasty snacks offered at the small shop near the entrance was a bonus. the location is perfect with a convenient store that's just a 10-minute walk away.
It would have been nicer if the Wi-Fi could reach the room. And although I'm not a smoker, I noticed that some of the rooms allow smoking.

Spent my Christmas at this traditional Japanese inn and it was a wonderful experience. The onsen was definitely the best part. So relaxing to soak in the hot water and listen to the sound of the nearby river. The staff was also super friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. Plus, the location was ideal – surrounded by nature and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The limited vegetarian options for the meals. I had to ask for some modifications to the traditional dishes, but the staff was accommodating and did their best to make sure I had something to eat.
